E’ partita da martedì 5 novembre la “Call” per partecipare al workshop “Be Active – Shape Europe!” che si terrà a Chiavenna dal 29 novembre al 1 dicembre.
Il tema principale del workshop sarà “la partecipazione attiva dei giovani” alla vita della città.
Venti giovani cinisellesi di età compresa tra i 18 e i 30 anni avranno tre giorni di tempo per confrontarsi sulle strategie che facilitano la cittadinanza attiva dei giovani e per costruire un percorso partecipato a Cinisello Balsamo.
Obiettivo è trovare modalità efficaci per il coinvolgimento dei giovani cittadini affinché si relazionino in maniera costruttiva con gli amministratori locali. “Be Active – Shape Europe” è un progetto finanziato dal Programma Europeo “Europa per i Cittadini” e si sta sviluppando parallelamente in Grecia, Regno Unito, Slovenia, Portogallo e Bulgaria, capofila del progetto è il Comune di Salonicco.
La partecipazione al laboratorio residenziale che si terrà a Chiavenna è totalmente gratuita basta iscriversi compilando il form sulla pagina web di Pagine Giovani-Comune di Cinisello Balsamo.
Conclusa l’esperienza a Chiavenna verrà selezionata una delegazione di almeno 5 partecipanti che proseguirà il percorso di “Be Active – Shape Europe”, prendendo parte gratuitamente ai workshop residenziali a Salonicco, in Grecia, insieme a ragazzi provenienti dagli altri 5 paesi partner.
Così l’assessore alle politiche giovanili Daniela Maggi: «Il percorso non si esaurisce con la partecipazione ai workshop residenziali e il progetto è più ambizioso».
Prosegue Maggi: «Dopo la giunta aperta, che si è tenuta a maggio del 2019, vogliamo creare uno spazio permanente di incontro tra giovani e amministratori e dar voce soprattutto a coloro i quali non sono mai stati coinvolti in momenti di cittadinanza attiva o di volontariato».
Le iscrizioni termineranno mercoledì 20 novembre.

Il giorno 25 ottobre 2019, lo staff dell’ ufficio Politiche Giovanili del Comune di Cinisello Balsamo, grazie al supporto dell’Assessore alle Politiche Giovanili Daniela Maggi, ha organizzato l’incontro di presentazione del Workshop residenziale del progetto “Be Active-Shape Europe”, finanziato dalla Commissione Europea tramite programma “Europa per i Cittadini”.
Ringraziamo per la presenza all’incontro le associazioni, gli oratori e le reti del Terzo Settore che svolgono un ruolo importante e prezioso nell’articolare e proporre spazi di libera espressione della creatività giovanile.

Ένα διαδραστικό εργαστήριο διαλόγου για την ενεργή συμμετοχή των νέων στα κοινωνικά δρώμενα: Οι νέοι παίρνουν το μέλλον στα χέρια τους!
Πρόκειται για μια συνάντηση των νέων με τους φορείς της κοινωνίας των πολιτών που διαμορφώνουν τις πολιτικές της νεολαίας, μια ευκαιρία για να εισακουστεί η γνώμη τους σε θέματα που τους αφορούν, να θέσουν τους προβληματισμούς τους και τις προτάσεις τους και να “κερδίσουν” την δέσμευση των φορέων ότι θα λάβουν υπόψη τις προτάσεις τους.
Το πρόγραμμα της συνάντησης περιλαμβάνει:
Ø Εισαγωγή στο Έργο, γνωριμία ομάδας
Ø Παρουσίαση φορέων της Κοινωνίας των πολιτών
Ø Δομημένος διάλογος στα θέματα:
· Κατά πόσο οι νέοι συμμετέχουν ενεργά στα κοινά; Αιτίες και παρατηρήσεις
· Βελτίωση και ενδυνάμωση των συνθηκών για τη συμμετοχή των νέων στα κοινά και στους δημοκρατικούς θεσμούς σε τοπικό και Ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο.
· Πολιτικές νεολαίας
Ø Βιωματική προσέγγιση στο θέμα: ενεργητική συμμετοχή των νέων στα κοινά
Ø Συμπεράσματα – προτάσεις
Συντονίστρια και εκπαιδεύτρια του εργαστηρίου θα είναι η κα Ιωάννα Στούπα, πιστοποιημένη εκπαιδεύτρια ενηλίκων.

A workshop between youngsters and specialists developing and applying policies, related to the young people took place in Varna on Sunday 14 of July.
The discussion was organized by the association Varna- European Youth Capital.
Young people from the age of sixteen to thirty attended to the event, including workers, students, doctorates. They had the opportunity to exchange information, opinions and ideas with Mrs. Radka Todorova, Head of The Youth Activities Department of The Education and Youth Activities Directorate of Varna Municipality and Mr. Martin Baychev a second term Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Standing Committee “Youth Activities and Sports at The Varna City Council.
Moderator of the discussion was Sergey Petrov-Executive Director of Varna-EYC. During his brief appeal opening the meeting, he again reminded that the purpose of this format is to overcome the distance between young people and decision-makers, which seems to exist in our minds and to gain a fulfilled dialogue between equal partners.
Martin Baychev noted how important is to him as a chairman of the Committee “Youth Activities and Sports” that face-to-face communication with young people. He encourages the participants to submit suggestions and ideas.
Mrs. Radka Todorova , the Head of The Youth Activities Department of Varna Municipality presented the policies and opportunities offered by the Municipality of Varna including: Youth projects financing, Municipal Voluntary Service, Municipal Youth Advisory Council, funding of all students council in the city.
In the beginning the discussion was focused on the youth activity in the city. Specialists report a decline in the last year, given the number of volunteers enrolled and the suggestion for the youth projects submitted. Sergey Petrov noted the municipal advisory council isn’t active enough.
In the words of young participants, the thesis “Nothing depends on us” is very popular among them. Dimitar Ivanov, a student at The Mathematics High School, believes that young people under 18 have much more time that they could dedicate to volunteering and project work than people over 18. Those who are students often use non-teaching time entirely to work and therefore do not get involved in other initiatives.
Another main focus of the discussion was the communication channels through which information reaches young people in the city. The main opinions were mixed. On the one hand some of the participants came to a conclusion /shared a common point of view that more emphasis should be placed on social networks and more information should be provided to young people who are not part of student councils or NGOs.
According to Marten Demirev from the “Innovator” Foundation young people are key factor. Much higher activity is needed on their part. The problem is not the lack of information or the channel through which it is provided. He even gave an example that active young people can always do something to spread information.
Martin Baychev added that the Committee on Youth Activities and Sports is in session every month and examine/look at letters of interest from young people or youth organizations. He encouraged youngsters to submit concrete suggestions after the meeting.
The team of Varna -EYC together with the Youth Activities Department are implementing new ways to motivate young people for more active dialogue with local authorities, for participation in community life and citizens’ initiatives, said Sergey Petrov. The Civic Education Academy was held for the second time in March this year. For example it is one of the successful initiatives in this direction. It gather together young people, most of them are not a part of civic associations. The specialists explain in understandable language fundamental concepts such as civic society, youth participation in democratic processes and how institutions function. „The facts that 6 of the young people who attended the Academy are on the meeting shows that a sustained interest was provoked.“ said Sergey Petrov.
By the end of the year Association Varna-EYC together with Varna Municipality is planning a campaign to promote volunteering.
The meeting ended in a very positive tone, the participants thanking the representatives of Varna Municipality for the open dialogue and the lack of distance.
The workshop was realized within the framework of the international project “Be active, Shape Europe” funded by “Europe for Citizens”. Partners are organizations from a total 6 EU countries. The project is intended to provoke interest in issues related to our common European home and involve a total 440 young people in six countries.

The first phase of Be Active Project – Shape Europe – has been held on the 11th of July 2019, consisting on a structured dialogue session. The session has taken place in S. João de Ver parish, belonging to the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, between 10.00 and 17.00 with 30 participants.
During the morning, the European program “Europe for Citizens” has been presented and the EuroDesk has presented several opportunities of mobility and youth participation in Europe.
Afterwards, the Be Active Project – Shape Europe – has been explained to all participants, namely the objectives, activities and the involved participants. After this presentation, the young people defined the themes with more interest for them as well as the discussion / work model, based on the non formal education methodology: world coffee and graphic recording.
This way, the proposed themes were: European diversity, participatory democracy, representative democracy, European youth goals / needs of the young people in Santa Maria da Feira.
During the afternoon, the working groups started the structured dialogue session about the themes in a motivated environment, taking into consideration the different points of view.
At the end of the day, the young people presented the conclusions of each theme to the participants and to the deciders (politicians) and they have had the opportunity to speak with them, sharing their points of view and their concerns while European young people.
The Vice-President of the City Hall of Santa Maria da Feira and the Manager of the Sports and Youth Division of the City Hall of Santa Maria da Feira attended the session.
The young people are checking the possibility of publishing an article in the local media about the structured dialogue session. They are also working on a video about that day.
Considering the work that has been developed, the young people suggest to include more themes or to analyze deeper one of the themes that has been discussed.
